Profile My specialty is concrete engineering. Recently, We are studying the manufacturing method of recycled aggregate using acid, the use as a reinforcing material for hard urethane and resin concrete, the shrinkage behavior of polymer cement mortar, and the use of lapilli. Regarding recycled aggregate, We are working on the production of recycled aggregate using waste acid. We are also investigating whether hard urethane can be applied as a reinforcing material for RC members. Urethane is lightweight and its strength can be changed by changing the foaming rate. In addition, the strength can be further improved by mixing short fibers in urethane. We are studying the application of RC members to reinforcing materials by changing the characteristics of urethane.
Research Field(Keyword & Summary)
  1. (1) Recycled aggregate

When producing recycled aggregate from concrete waste, it is often manufactured by crushing the waste. Here, we are studying a method for producing recycled aggregate by chemical action. This is a method of dissolving concrete debris using waste sulfuric acid and recovering the undissolved aggregate.

  2. (2) Hard urethane

We are studying a method to reinforce RC members with hard urethane. Specifically, we are considering seismic reinforcement of utility poles that exist in large numbers in the city. Since the utility pole is a hollow member, urethane is injected into this hollow part to study the effect of seismic reinforcement.

  3. (3) Resin concrete

We are investigating the possibility of resin concrete as a floor slab reinforcement material. Resin concrete is spread in a thin layer on the upper surface of the model RC beam assuming a floor slab, and its reinforcing effect is being examined.
