Profile | Tokyo City University (formerly Musashi Institute of Technology) Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Environment. Born on February 21, 1970. Graduated from the University of Tokyo (Graduate School of Engineering) in 1998 with a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.). After his graduation, he was involved in the national LCA project initiated by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to developed a Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA) method. Since 2001, he has been engaged in the development of the environmental impact assessment method LIME (updated later as LIME2 and LIME3), which the first roots were established during his stay at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) between 2001 and 2005. He later joined Tokyo City University in 2005 as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Environment and earned the academic title of Professor in 2013. |
