There are wide-ranging issues in need of resolution from global to local scale problems, such as global warming, threats to biodiversity, energy crisis and water pollution, which affect the daily life of all people living on earth. The Faculty is committed to developing human resources with knowledge of the environment and ecosystems that are affected by rapidly changing economic activities, the ability to accomplish goals that are essential for problem solving, and who can contribute to solutions to environmental problems through practical education and research that go beyond the borders to the social and the natural sciences.
