Profile | My field of study is fluid mechanics and fluid engineering, and particularly microfluidics, in which micro technology and fluids are combined, are focused. Regarding the technology, fabrication technologies for micro devices are developed and novel micro fluidics systems are proposed. In micro channels employed micro fluidics technologies, interfacial electrokinetic phenomena becomes pronounced. I am trying to figure out the mechanism of electroosmotic flow that is one of interfacial electrokinetic phenomena and the structure of electric double layer. To achieve these purposes, I am also developing measurement techniques for very small physical quantities. |
