Profile | Takuichi Hirano received a B.S. in electrical and information engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan in 1998. He received his M.S. and D.E. degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2000 and 2008, respectively. He was an Assistant Professor from 2002 to 2018 with Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is with Tokyo City University as an Associate Professor. He serves as a reviewer of IEICE, IEEJ and IEEE transactions including related conferences. He served as a secretary of technical committees on electromagnetic simulation (2011-2012, 2014-2015) and microwave (2016-2017) of the IEICE. He has been with a committee member of microwave workshops and exhibition (MWE) from 2012 to present. He was a TPC chair in MWE 2021. He was a chair of “IEEJ Investigating R&D Committee on Innovative Advanced Application Technology of Electromagnetic Waves in the 5G/Beyond 5G Era” from June 2020 to May 2023. |
