JST – Sakura Science Exchange Program:Online joint seminar with the University of the South Pacific in Fiji on “Frontiers of Computational Science” (10 December)

As part of the Sakura Science Exchange Program by TCU, students, faculty and staff from TCU and the University of the South Pacific, Republic of Fiji, participated in a program on “Frontiers of Computational Science”.

The program included lectures by TCU faculty members on 10 December 2021 on topics such as “Applications of Quantum Computing” and “Theories of Particle Physics”, and discussions on both sides focusing on a review of previous exchanges between TCU and the University of the South Pacific.

This exchange program will provide an opportunity for students from both sides to gain new knowledge and skills, as well as an opportunity to further strengthen and develop future exchanges between the University and the South Pacific.

  • The Sakura Science Exchange Program aims to promote the development of science and technology in Japan and around the world through exchanges between universities and other institutions.
