Profile | Shin Nakajima invests the urban planning history as spatial forming technique in Japan and practical urban design by public-private-academic collaboration. He earned his bachelor’s from College of Policy and Planning Science, the University of Tsukuba in 2003, master’s degree from Graduate School of Environmental Sciences, the University of Tsukuba in 2006 and doctoral degrees from Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 2013. His doctor thesis is “A Study on Actual Condition of Block Planning and Spatial Formation of Land Readjustment for War-damage Reconstruction in Tokyo”. It has been won awards as Encouraging Prize of thesis from City Planning Institute of Japan and Japan Association for Real Estate Sciences in 2014. He also engaged in specialized and technical occupations including community development in community design center of Nerima city in Tokyo when he was doctoral student from 2010 to 2013. |
