English education; Phonology, in particular, second language acquisition of obstruents (consonant pronunciation); Writing (Improving EFL students' vocabulary and grammar); Materials Engineering (strengthening materials to be more eco-friendly and increase safety). He is enjoying teaching English classes as well as science and engineering related undergraduate and graduate courses in English and Japanese along with conducting collaborative research and guiding graduate students with their research projects. He also has a master's in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). He has been enjoying teaching basic English reading, writing, speaking and listening classes since he first came to Japan. Textbooks he has authored include TOEIC(R), business, science, and eco-technology. |
