Profile	My research field is computational social science. Computational social science uses social simulation and web mining to model and understand society. I am particularly interested in studying collective phenomena online. I research how community conflict and fragmentation occur in SNS.
Research Field(Keyword & Summary)	(1) Social Simulation Social simulation is a research field that applies computational methods to study issues in the social sciences. Social simulation aims to cross the gap between the descriptive approach used in the social sciences and the formal approach used in the natural sciences. (2) Web Mining Web mining is a data mining process that uses the structure of websites and data on the web. It is the process of extracting useful information from data, content, and textual information on the web.
