Profile He is an Associate Professor at the faculty of urban life studies and his research focus on real estate business, urban development and REIT business. Previously, he had been involved in urban development and investment, real estate fund and REIT business for 14 years since joining Tokyu Land Corporation, one of the big developers in Japan. He led the listing of Comforia Residential REIT sponsored by Tokyu Land Corporation and the establishment of Tokyu Land Asia Pte Ltd. as a regional headquarter for Southeast Asia in Singapore, where he was stationed for about 4 years and was involved in various urban development projects in Asia. Currently, he also serves as an advisor to Tokyu Land Corporation. Utilizing these practical experiences, he is engaged in factor analysis of real estate business and research on J-REITs.

    With his practical experience at a developer, he analyzes the factors of the change in J-REIT unit prices with financing methods, the rents and the land prices with real estate business, and the pedestrians using urban spatial configuration. In addition, he also does research for the real estate business and REIT in Southeast Asia, comparing to those in Japan.
